Born in Seville (Spain), José Colomé studied Orchestral and Choir Conducting in Spain, Austria and the United Kingdom with Francisco J. Gutiérrez (Seville), Johan Duijck (Brussels), Michel Piquemal (Paris), Bruno Aprea (Rome), Salvador Mas Conde (Vienna), Juan Luis Pérez (Seville), Rodolfo Fischer (Basel), Santiago Serrate (Sabadell) y Antoni Ros Marbà (Barcelona).


He studied at the CSM “Manuel Castillo” in Seville, at the Wien Konservatorium in Vienna, and at the RNCM in Manchester. He conducts concerts throughout Spain, as well as in Portugal, France, Germany, Austria, UK, Luxembourg, USA, Belgium and Morocco as guest conductor and / or assistant.


His great experience in the field of orchestration includes collaborations with national orchestras. In summer 2019, he toured with the Álvarez Beigbeder Orchestra in France as part of the Eurochestries, where he performed the French premiere of Campos Jerezanos. In October 2019 he made his debut directing the zarzuela in the United States.


In January 2020, he recorded with the Álvarez Beigbeder Orchestra a disc containing the symphonic music of the author of the same name. In addition, he developed the secular cantata of “Magallanes” for choir and chamber orchestra.


Currently he conducts the Ars Vivendi choir (2016-), he is guest director of the Álvarez Beigbeder Orchestra in Jerez since 2018 and music director of the Dos Hermanas Harmony Orchestra (2019-). His relationship with the Royal Seville Symphony Orchestra began in 2015 as an orchestrator and he became guest conductor in 2017.


Focused on Spanish music and as director of opera and zarzuela, he researches and re-orchestrates more than 30 lyrical titles.
