The Youth Committee

First youth meeting in Osijek (Croatia)

- December 9 to 12, 2022 -

This first meeting of young people from different countries (under 30 years old) aims to set up

an international Eurochestries youth committee and youth committees by country.

This meeting will last 2 days ( travel):

from Friday 9 (arrival) to Monday 12 December (departure),meetings on Saturday and Sunday.

It will take place in Osijek (Croatia), in partnership with the “Batorek” Tambura Orchestra.

Thanks to funding from Erasmus , travel and accommodation and meals for everyone on site

will be supported by Eurochestries International.

The nearest airports are: Budapest and Zagreb (3 hours drive from Osijek).

Transportation between the airport and Osijek will be provided by the "Batorek" orchestra.

We are expecting representatives from European countries or countries close to Europe who have already participated

at the Eurochestries festivals: Austria, Bulgaria, Spain, Estonia, France, Italy, Poland, Slovakia, Ukraine...

You are between 18 and 30 years old, hlive in a European country and have participated in at least one festival

The role of the youth committee is:

1. To be the intermediary between the musicians and the organization during the Eurochestries Festivals.
2. To spread the philosophy of Eurochestries among all young people.
   
3. To represent the will and perception of young people at Congresses.
4. To help the management team and the organization. Have knowledge of how Eurochestries works (important for the future of Eurochestries International and the perpetuation of the festivals).
5. To look for new musicians, chamber groups and orchestras to participate in the Eurochestries.
