Born in Lille, he began his musical studies at the city's conservatory and continued his training at the Paris Normal School of Music. He proceeded then to a diversified professional career as an orchestral musician, conductor, professor of musical training and writing, director of a conservatory.
Composer, he won two international prizes for his works: REM-RUS-LOP-TNIAS and CANTUS POLYPHONIA.
His interest in pedagogy led him to lead internships preparing for the diploma of aptitude for the direction of musical societies and for the state diploma of direction of wind orchestras.
Principal conductor of the music of the Paris air, he is called upon to conduct numerous concerts abroad, particularly in Belgium, Spain, Germany, Switzerland, the Netherlands, United States, Hungary, Great Britain, Morocco, Denmark , Italy, Slovakia, Austria, Portugal, China, Russia and Argentina.
In the practices of "acousmatic" music, his recordings testify to a taste for diversity with Ida Gotkovsky's brilliant symphony, but also the famous musical fresco of The Lord of the Rings broadcast on television and commented by Eve Ruggieri.
Since 1997, he has been the musical director of the orchestra of the city of Chartres.
