Born in 1989, Izmael PACHECO began his piano studies at the age of 9 at the Superior Institute of Arts. A year later he joined the Pilot Plan (Pre-University) of the National University of Costa Rica to continue his studies and obtain his degree.
In 2000, he made his debut at the National Theatre as a soloist with the Youth Symphony Orchestra, and performed before the President of Spain, José Maria Aznar. The following year, he performed with the National Symphony Orchestra as a soloist for the closing of the official 2001 season.
At the age of 11, Izmael also became the first Costa Rican pianist to perform at the prestigious Carnegie Hall in New York. He has performed in various venues in Costa Rica and abroad (Austria, Argentina, United States, Guatemala, Hungary, Mexico, Peru and Puerto Rico) for various festivals, competitions and cultural events for presidents and diplomats. Among the most prestigious venues of his career are Carnegie Hall (New York, USA), the Musikverein (Vienna, Austria) and the UN / United Nations (Vienna, Austria).
Today, Izmael is a professor at the Vienna Conservatory of Music (Austria) and also concentrates on other fields: composition, songs, conducting and producing.
