Yusuke Kimoto conducts numerous orchestras around the world, produces many concerts, innovates a new way of cultural collaboration, and teaches art theory at the University.
He developed an interest in music as a pianist, obtaining a Bachelor of Arts degree and then a Master of Arts degree at the University of Tokyo. He learned the art of conducting from conductor Chiyuki Murakata. At the age of twenty, he devoted himself to conducting youth orchestras in Asia and had many experiences in Europe, notably in Italy where he was assistant conductor to Hirofumi Yoshida (artistic director of the Bologna Philharmonic Orchestra).
He has been invited by various countries, orchestras and music festivals and has had great success conducting the International Music Festival in several countries.
He is currently Principal Conductor of the Fukui University Philharmonic Orchestra and Artistic Director of the Sea of Japan Festival Orchestra.
