City of Syzran - Samara region, 900kms south-east of Moscow

Created over 20 years ago under the leadership of Claude Révolte and Jean-Marie Dazas, the festival welcomes each year harmony orchestras, brass bands, music groups, singers, choirs and traditional dances from different regions and countries.

300 artists come together for a week, giving concerts but also working together to give a closing concert with a mix of musicians and conductors.

During this week, music, conviviality and tourism evolve in a common exchange. Among other things, with a "tomato festival" day.

This festival shares the same values and the same principle as the Eurochestries festivals. However, it is open to all types of orchestras, choirs and musical ensembles, and without age limitation.
