This event was born from the initiative of Artur Wrobel, conductor of the orchestra of the Ryszard Bukowski secondary school in Wroclaw and the director of this school. After having taken part in several Eurochestries festivals in France, they decided to organize a festival in Poland, as the reception and the Eurochestries project seemed so interesting to them.
The 2011 festival was actually a new edition because the town of Swieradow Zdroj had already hosted a Eurochestries festival 12 years previously. About twenty concerts were organized during the ten days of this Festival.
