Hrvoje Harkanovac was born in 1998 in Osijek, Croatia.

He started playing music at the age of 5 and became interested in the Tambura a year later, learning to play by himself. At the age of 10, he enrolled in the Tambura school "Batorek" in Osijek, where he became a member of the orchestra in a short time. 

Since 2017, Hrvoje has been studying the Art of Tambura at the Academy of Culture and Arts in Osijek. He is currently in the second year of his master's degree.

Hrvoje has won numerous prizes at regional, national and international competitions playing tambura solo and with the orchestra. He has already conducted many concerts in Croatia and in several countries of the world (Brazil, China, Bulgaria, France, Portugal, Greece, etc.).

Since 2020, he has been the conductor of this Tambura orchestra "Batorek".
